Warren Planning Commission postpones contested gas-station site plan to April 13

Attorney Pat Lennon, representing the applicant, told the commission the project had received a 4–3 approval at the last hearing and asked for postponement so the applicant could present new information and seek a reconsideration with the full board present. “We received a 4 3 vote to approve at the last time this was heard, which means we had to come back to another meeting to potentially get a reconsideration and a possible fifth vote,” Lennon said.
Chair (the meeting’s presiding official) moved to postpone the item; the motion was seconded and approved on a roll-call vote. Commissioners cited fairness to the applicant and the desire for full commission consideration when a prior vote had been split.
The item will return to the commission on April 13; the postponement was recorded as a procedural motion, not an approval or denial of any site plan details.
