Tempe School District welcomes several new administrators approved by the board

"I'm so pleased to begin this role in special education," Ostrom said, introducing her husband, son and mother and adding that her district work began as a school psychologist.
Maggini also introduced Jay Resnick as assistant director of special education behavior support. Resnick thanked the board and introduced his daughter, saying he is "super excited to be working here for Tempe." Dana Noble was introduced as director of academic and instructional programs; Noble told the board she "cannot wait to start" and noted family members in the audience.
Maggini told the board that Amy Evans (assistant director of advanced learning and choice programs) and Brian Maurer (director of student information systems) were approved as well but were not present.
Why this matters: the hires add leadership capacity in special education, behavior supports and curriculum at a time when the district is preparing for budget discussions and continuing several partnerships and student programs the board discussed at the meeting.
