The commission recommended approval of PC 8-26, a request from North American Realty on behalf of owner Johnny Warden to rezone two combined parcels totaling 31.95 acres at 7252 Northwest Highway from RS-40 to R-20. Planning staff said the Fairview Forward 2040 plan designates the site as “new residential medium neighborhood,” a classification that lists RS-40, R-20 with a PUD and a proposed traditional-neighborhood district as appropriate zoning. The commission voted 7–0 to forward a favorable recommendation.
