Staff said rounds at the city courses are steady and reminded residents that Boulder City annual golf cards go on sale between December and January for $200; the card offers discounted rounds, discounted merchandise, bonus rounds and birthday rounds.
When commissioners asked whether the city’s turf‑reduction policy or regional water goals could trigger fines or add costs to golf operations, staff said they did not have a definitive answer and described the construction as phased so half the course would be worked on at a time to keep nine holes available.
Staff recommended that questions about regulatory and financial impacts be followed up with the department or the county water authorities for clarification.
