At the start of the meeting the board approved the evening's agenda by roll call. The board approved the consent agenda by a recorded vote (motion carried 4-0).
Donation: administration reported that a local business — the donor asked to remain anonymous — provided "over 42 pieces of slightly used furniture" for the district’s alternative high school. The board moved, seconded and accepted the donation and offered thanks to the donor; the motion carried by recorded vote (4-0).
Special meeting and negotiations: the board set a special meeting for April 2, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. "for the purpose to finalize negotiations and offer teacher contracts," the administration said. The board approved the date and time by roll call (4-0).
Executive session: later in the meeting a board member moved to enter executive session for 25 minutes to discuss negotiations; the motion was seconded and the board entered executive session after a roll call vote with recorded affirmative votes.
