Committee members recommended ordering code books (paper copies plus PDF access) for a detailed amendment review and said the council could opt out of specific sections (for example, private sewer provisions) if appropriate.
Council agreed to table a final code adoption vote until more members could participate and directed the committee to continue its work and prepare recommended opt-outs for council consideration.
