Infiniti Engineering updated the jury on parishwide sewer‑plant projects, reporting that construction continued ‘‘without any delays’’ and that the wastewater treatment plant installation had begun; chambers were set, plumbing and aeration work had started and the Blackwell Lift Station work had commenced. Staff asked that contractors provide a short schedule so jurors could visit active sites and track percent complete and expected end dates.
Jurors discussed a DOTD request for a more detailed study on one project; engineers said they planned to seek an exemption and to use state modeling to support the application if needed.
