Milton council approves consent agenda and two appointments

At its March 16 meeting the Milton City Council approved the consent agenda by voice vote and took two appointment actions.
Mayor recommended reappointing Kelly Talbot to the civil service commission for a term to expire March 2032; Council moved, seconded and approved the reappointment unanimously. The council also approved the mayor's appointment of Jackie Strader to the planning commission for a term to expire May 31, 2031; Strader thanked the council and said she is retired and eager to serve.
The consent vote and both appointment votes passed without opposition. No public comment was made on either appointment.
