The Beardstown City Council voted 7–0 Sept. 17 to adopt a resolution supporting an application to the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP) to fund construction and associated engineering for a bike path.
Alderperson Dawn Seward moved the resolution, and Alderperson Mary Davis seconded it. The roll call vote recorded yeas from Lisa Buhlig, Ron Culves, Mary Davis, Eric Harbin, Keith Schramm, Dawn Seward and Shawn Taylor; Chris Baer was absent.
