The Beardstown City Council on Feb. 4 approved a tentative agreement between the City of Beardstown and the Fraternal Order of Police representing the city's police officers.
A motion by Alderperson Eric Harbin, seconded by Alderperson Shawn Taylor, approved the tentative agreement; the motion passed 8-0 by roll call vote.
