The Village of Brookfield board on Jan. 26 approved a corporate warrant in the amount of $1,270,648.62.
Trustee Nier Matseuth moved to approve the warrant dated 01/26/2026; Trustee Whitehead seconded. Trustees reviewed highlights of the payments, which Matseuth said included a little over $10,000 for Creekside work and about $82,000 for Prairie lighting. The board held no extended discussion and a roll-call vote recorded unanimous “Aye.”
The vote authorizes payments on the warrant list presented to the board that evening and was adopted as a routine financial action. No additional budget amendments or follow-up hearings were requested during the meeting.
Motion: Trustee Nier Matseuth. Second: Trustee Whitehead. Outcome: approved by roll-call vote.
