Alderman Frank, who moved the ordinance, and Alderman Flurry, who seconded it, did not propose changes during the floor discussion. The clerk recorded a unanimous roll-call approval.
The ordinance becomes part of the Belvidere Municipal Code and will be available in the city clerk’s office for public inspection. The council took no further procedural steps during the meeting related to redistricting or additional map updates.
