Technology updates included a pilot rollout of a standardized AI tool dubbed 'Magic AI' for staff with an anticipated July rollout, a new email‑filtering system to reduce spam and malware risk, and phase‑2 distribution of new Chromebooks. Staff also reported phase‑1 implementation of an electronic field‑trip request and trip‑billing system with athletics and the exceptional‑children department.
Board members thanked staff and had no objections to continuing the planned work. No votes were required for the informational items.
