Kiersten Sheets, Senior Project Development Manager with Trajectory Energy Partners, spoke during public comments at the Jan. 12 Kewanee City Council meeting about a proposed community solar project sited just south of OSF St. Luke.
Sheets said the developer will host an open house for residents at the library on Jan. 14 from 4–7 p.m. to explain the proposal and answer questions. The council did not take action on the project at the meeting; the presentation was given during the public-comment portion of the agenda.
Additional project materials, site plans, and any required municipal approvals were not included in the minutes and would be needed before council action can occur.
