Willow Springs approves $364,053.36 state funding allocation for street repairs

The Willow Springs Village Board on May 18 approved Resolution 2025-R-06 to allocate $364,053.36 in 2025 state funding toward infrastructure repairs.
President Louis Tannenbier said the step is necessary for state reporting and that the amount will be part of next year’s budget. The resolution identifies Villa Boulevard, Rachel Avenue and Rosemere Court as projects included in the allocation.
The board approved the resolution by roll call with all members voting in favor. Staff said the allocation will allow the village to plan the repair work as part of the coming fiscal year’s capital program.
