The Village of Brookfield board approved several fiscal and infrastructure measures during its Jan. 12 meeting, including a design-and-construction engineering agreement, multiple grant-application authorizations, fee adjustments and an increase to the village’s temporary line of credit.
Design agreement and STP submissions The board approved a resolution to enter a professional design and construction engineering services agreement with Hancock Engineering for the 2026 sewer-lining improvements. The design engineering fee on the resolution before the board was $24,600; construction costs for the anticipated sewer repairs were estimated by staff to be about $326,000.
