Council votes to create two handicapped spaces at 1414 North State Street

Mayor Barry read a staff memo referencing a draft ordinance from City Attorney Drella. Drella said the proposed improvements would improve parking access in front of the business at that address and that a draft ordinance was included in the council packet for consideration.
Alderman McGee moved and Alderman Stevens seconded a motion to approve the ordinance establishing two handicapped parking spaces; the motion passed by voice vote. The mayor noted the ordinance will return in final form at a later council meeting for adoption.
