Council members asked about mileage, prior accidents and whether the city would recoup scrap value from the retired trucks; staff said the units would be auctioned or scrapped for the highest return. The first motion (2014 International 7,410) was moved by Alderman Stevens and seconded by Alderman Montebono; the second (2014 International 7,405) was moved by Alderman Montalbano and seconded by Alderman Hoynes. Both measures passed on voice votes.
