Lindenhurst public works warns of salt shortage after 15 snow events this season

Hernandez told the board that crews will begin conserving salt to extend existing supplies and that municipal staff are coordinating with neighboring jurisdictions to identify sources should the village run out. Operations Director Kevin Klahs also provided a separate update on progress of the Lake Shore Drive FAU Reconstruction project; no schedule or budget changes were noted in the minutes.
