Police Chief Lykins presented the request and asked the committee to approve both the amplification permit for the viewing stand and the IDOT resolution for the Main Street closure, saying "there is no changes from last year." He noted the parade will include collateral street closures and that Alliance contact Jenna could not attend in person.
A motion to approve the permit and resolution was made and seconded and the committee conducted a roll‑call vote; the motion carried. The chair announced the motion carried and the permits were approved.
No substantive changes to routing or amplification parameters were reported at the meeting; staff indicated standard coordination with IDOT and event partners will continue ahead of the parade.
