Warrenville approves $75,000 settlement to secure easements for Mack Road multiuse path and bridge replacement

White said the agreed final order that would be entered in court to dismiss the pending condemnation case is included in the meeting backup materials and that the cost for the acquisition is budgeted at $75,000. Council discussion was brief; Alderman Berry made a motion to approve resolution R2026‑17, Alderman Wilkie seconded, and the council approved the settlement on a roll‑call vote.
The resolution authorizes execution of the settlement and the associated agreed final order to dismiss the pending condemnation case; staff said the acquisition cost is included in the budget for the project. The city will complete procurement and closing steps following execution of the settlement agreement.
