Brookfield staff outline stepped-up code enforcement and regular inspection map to address vacancy and inoperable vehicles

Libby Popovic said inspectors document violations with photographs and, after warnings, follow through with adjudication and court action when necessary. Staff noted the effort is not limited to one corridor; while Ogden has been a focus because of concentrated issues, citation history and enforcement activity extend villagewide.
The update was informational; trustees thanked staff and noted the importance of consistent enforcement to support economic-development efforts.
