Clerk (Clerk) read the consent items aloud. Among the items were ordinances to abate $38,800 of a 2025 levy to pay debt service on $1,940,000 general obligation bonds (alternate revenue source, series 2021A), an abatement of $177,625 for debt service on $1,745,000 refunding bonds (series 2014A), and other abatements tied to series 2014B and series 2016–17 IEPA projects. The consent listing also included approval to keep certain closed session minutes confidential and an amended special tax rule for a special service area.
A motion and second were made to approve items A through I on the consent agenda; the board approved the consent package via roll call.
