The board approved an accounts-payable warrant totaling $144,082.93 after a motion moved by Trustee Hoff and seconded by Trustee Thomas. The motion was recorded as passed by roll-call affirmation.
Trustees also voted to donate $200 from village funds to the Dundee Township Shop With a Cop program; officials said an anonymous resident pledged an equal match, bringing the donation to $400.
In new business, the board discussed and approved increasing the monthly wastewater flat-rate charge from $100 to $150 for the four remaining homes that lack wastewater meters and are on private wells. Trustees said the change is intended to better reflect sewage costs the village remits to West Dundee and to motivate residents to accept meter installation; the village confirmed it will pay for meter installation if residents agree.
Director of Finance briefly noted that the village’s tax-levy increase is constrained by PTOF to about 2.9% (down from 3.4% the prior year), and the finance committee will present a levy recommendation at the November meeting.
Trustees approved the bills and the wastewater rate increase by roll-call vote; the Shop With a Cop donation was also approved by vote.
