Council approves seeking quotes to drill third Cayuga well after equipment failures

On a motion by Alder Mike Scott and seconded by Alder Nick Krabel, the council approved staff to obtain quotes for drilling a third well so the city can evaluate options for a backup water source. The motion was recorded as passed unanimously 8–0. The minutes do not record any appropriation or contract award for drilling at this meeting.
