The Fox River Grove Board unanimously authorized the Village Administrator on Sept. 16 to execute a non-exclusive right-of-way permitting agreement with i3 Broadband. The agreement grants i3 Broadband access to village right-of-way to install fiber optic cabling as part of a larger connection project between Algonquin and Cary.
Trustees voted 6–0 on the motion. Administrator Soderholm said the agreement would enable expanded fiber internet service and is non-exclusive. No additional conditions or financial terms were discussed during the meeting.
The motion passed by roll call with Trustees Curtiss, Hester, Joseph, Knar, Migdal and Wall voting yes.
