Lebanon City plans sealed-bid sale of surplus equipment including wood chipper and generator

Bids will be accepted by sealed bid and the streets and alleys superintendent will set the bid date and advertising schedule; the council was told bids will be advertised in the newspaper and posted on an additional website, and the public may inspect the items in the city garage.
A deadline of December 2 was discussed for the bid process; staff explained there is a downloadable bid form and bidders may submit a letter describing the item they seek to purchase if they prefer. If no acceptable sealed bids are received, the council may dispose of the items under the required surplus property procedures.
