Pontiac council approves supplemental MFT dollars and awards hot‑mix asphalt contract

On motion and roll call, the council approved both the supplemental allocation and the bid award.
Council members asked which streets would be covered and whether the supplemental MFT would open further opportunities for other work; staff said the MFT portion is a component of the funding mix and will reduce local contributions to the approved HMA project.
