At its Dec. 16 meeting the Zion City Council approved a slate of routine and project-specific items, including grant applications, lease renewals, procurement contracts and zoning actions.
The council passed a resolution to apply for Lake County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to assist with sidewalk replacement and ADA ramp installation; staff said the grant would provide $100,000 toward an estimated $130,000 project. The vote was unanimous.
