During the consent portion of the meeting trustees approved several routine items. A trustee moved to approve a special village ordinance concerning Duke’s Blues and Barbecue LLC and a resolution authorizing an agreement with Baxter and Whitman Inc. to develop a village‑wide geographic information system in an amount not to exceed $40,000; another trustee seconded and roll‑call votes were recorded as affirmative.
Separately, trustees voted to postpone item F — a resolution authorizing the village administrator to execute a termination/release of a driveway license agreement involving properties on Roseland Road — to the next meeting on Feb. 2 after a motion to postpone and a second.
At the end of the public meeting the board moved to adjourn into executive session to discuss pending litigation and acquisition of property (C‑5 and C‑11). The motion passed on a voice vote and the board closed the public session.
Recorded votes during the consent and postponement motions were taken by roll call and recorded as affirmative by the trustees present; the executive‑session motion passed by voice vote.
