Mister Palakkal reported the finance team is continuing work on requests for additional financial information and that staff remain on schedule to meet the April 13 timeline. "We continue to meet with the team and progress forward," he said, noting broader efforts to strengthen documentation following leadership turnover.
Vicky Buckland said the posting for finance director has closed, interviews will finish this week, and finalists will be forwarded to the mayor for final selection. "We will finish my level of interviews this week, and pass those finalists off to the mayor then for a final selection," Buckland said. She added she would send the committee the quarter-to-date budget vs. actuals later that day.
The committee signaled that receiving the budget vs. actuals and staffing updates promptly is important to the remaining schedule.
