Key approvals included acceptance of the March 17 minutes; Allied insurance claims for $36,005.68; a prescriptions invoice for $54,530.01; payroll timecards and payroll claims totaling $399,004.64; utilities for $43,007.44; the monthly MBH draw of $322,823.57 and the local road & street draw of $47,176.16. The board also approved permits for Indiana and Michigan Power to replace poles on 800 North and for Pike Engineering to do related pole work on County Road 950 South. Commissioners accepted the weights-and-measures and animal shelter reports and carried the highway department report.
