Summary
Trustees paused their agenda to honor multiple students of the month across early childhood, elementary, middle and high-school programs and to name Jordan Mulligan and Tyler White as staff members of the month.
At its March 17 meeting the North Ridgeville City Board of Education paused for its monthly recognitions, honoring students from early childhood through high school and naming two staff members of the month.
Presenters introduced preschool and kindergarten students (including Sonia Patel and Mac Fiera) and recognized Liberty Elementary honorees Ella Langel and Iverson Pittenger for classroom leadership and steady effort. Middle- and upper-grade students from NRAC and other buildings were also recognized for teamwork, growth and leadership qualities.
The board and district staff named Jordan Mulligan as a staff member of the month, citing her responsiveness, leadership and work on building teams and professional development. The board also recognized Tyler White for his facilities work and commitment to athletic and school events.
A board member said the monthly recognitions are a highlight: “Congratulations to all our students and staff of the month,” the Chair said. The meeting recessed briefly so certificate recipients and families could take photos before the business portion of the meeting resumed.
The recognitions were presented as part of the consent and information portion of the meeting; no votes were required beyond the consent items later approved by the board.
