Building official proposes raising Cosmopolis water and sewer tap fees, flags a data entry error

He told the council he would bring a resolution to adopt new connection fees at the next meeting in two weeks.
Seidore also identified a clear error in the posted packet: the out-of-city water tap charge was printed as $31,502,000 in the packet but he said the correct figure should be $3,004 (or expressed as "3,004" in the packet context). He asked the council to treat that line as a data-entry mistake and confirmed corrected figures would be included with the resolution.
Next steps: Staff will prepare a resolution to adopt the recommended fee changes and return to council for a formal vote. The building official said the changes are intended to cover actual costs and to align charges with nearby jurisdictions.
