Mayor Kave thanks flood donors and recognizes city employees at Pacific workshop

During the Jan. 26 City of Pacific workshop, Mayor Kave used the Good of the Order to thank community donors who aided recovery from the 2025 Pacific flood and to acknowledge Public Works Director Rick Gehrke for his work compiling documentation for the state's flood-damage submission.
Mayor Kave also announced personnel recognitions: Police Specialist/Community Service Officer Debbie Aubrey was named employee of the year, and Lieutenant Terry Carter was named officer of the year. The minutes state that all departments collaborated to collect the information necessary for state forms related to the flood damage.
The workshop adjourned at 6:58 p.m.
