The Granite Falls City Council adopted Resolution 2026-03 on Jan. 21 to establish consolidated purchasing policies, procedures and delegated authority for the City Manager and department heads. Councilmember Steven Glenn moved approval and Councilmember Bruce Straughn seconded the motion. The resolution replaces Resolutions 2021-03 and 2008-04.
The council recorded a 4-1 vote in favor of Resolution 2026-03; Councilmember Tom FitzGerald cast the lone vote against the measure.
