After closing the public testimony portion, the council approved Ordinance No. 1070-2026 to amend Title 19 and Ordinance No. 1071-2026 to amend Title 21. Both motions passed with all five council votes in favor. Hess told the council the amendments were intended to ensure consistency with the Comprehensive Plan, update regulatory language for clarity and enforceability, and streamline procedural language for applicants.
The measures take effect according to the timelines in the adopted ordinances. Councilmembers who moved and seconded the motions are recorded in the meeting minutes; the record shows the council conducted the hearing and voted on the ordinances in one session with no public testimony.
