The Westford Select Board approved a $250,000 contract with Vanasse Associates to design a Powers Road sidewalk project funded through the Housing Works program.
Kristen (town manager) told the board the contract is a grant pass-through requested by the Land Use Management Department and is associated with the 37 Powers Road project. "We did let the board know that we did receive this grant," Kristen said, and staff noted there is no cost to the town because the work is grant-funded.
Joe Genowitz, the town planner, was identified as available on the line for questions. There were no substantive questions from board members and the motion to authorize the town manager to sign the design contract passed on a unanimous roll-call vote.
Staff will proceed to execute the pass-through contract and coordinate the design work with Land Use Management and the town planner.
