"We have most everything buttoned down except for where I do have a conservation commission meeting scheduled for next week," Halloran said, adding she hopes to open the cafe on Friday, April 10. The board's approval was made contingent on the final conservation permit.
The license request was presented during the Select Board's public meeting; the chair confirmed the item was not being conducted as a public hearing. After the applicant's update, a board member moved to approve the license and another seconded; the roll-call vote was recorded as unanimous.
The approval allows The Works Cafe to operate at the Littleton Road address once the outstanding conservation approval is received and the town clerk's office completes any remaining paperwork. The board thanked the applicant for the update and noted staff will coordinate next steps for final documentation.
