During committee-member commentary at the end of the meeting, resident advisor Jim Niswander urged an open process for the upcoming treasurer transition and recommended that the current committee members, resident advisors and city staff work with the incoming treasurer to develop a proposal for city council.
Niswander said, "I propose that the current members of the investment review committee, including the resident advisors, participate with the city staff and the new city treasurer in developing the proposal to be submitted to the city council." He also recommended that roles and responsibilities for the investment review committee be defined and documented.
