"I'm mayor Paula Perotti inviting you to Goleta's biggest night of the year, the Goleta Community State of the City," Perotti said, urging residents to attend and learn about the city's progress and challenges.
Perotti said doors will open at 5 p.m., with the program beginning at 6 p.m. Attendees will be able to visit city information tables and enjoy light refreshments; organizers will hold a question-and-answer session and encouraged people to bring questions.
