Mr. Snyder moved the slate of buildings-and-grounds contracts and change orders, and each item passed by show of hands, recorded as 8–0. Motions approved included a contract with Gable and Sons Construction for gutter replacement at Ebenezer Elementary School through CoStar pricing for $92,865 and a contract with Builders Specialty Services for bleacher replacement at Ebenezer Elementary for $76,922. The board also approved a Lancaster Asphalt Systems Inc. contract to repair the parking lot at Union Canal Elementary for $17,307 and a set of flooring replacement contracts at Cornwall Elementary, Ebenezer Elementary and South Lebanon Elementary that total $36,168. Mr. Snyder said these projects will be paid from the capital reserve fund.
The board approved one-year service contracts for equipment maintenance, including a chiller and rooftop-unit maintenance contract with Ainsworth for July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027, and a one-year boiler maintenance contract for the same term. The board also approved multiple renovation change orders for Cedar Crest High School (including general-contractor and plumbing-contractor modifications) and ratified a vendor quote from LB Water Services Inc. covering pumps and lids for the Erlbaugh Stadium facilities-improvement project.
Architectural and engineering services for Cedar Crest site and middle-school renovation projects were authorized, and the board approved an addendum to an existing construction-management contract for the Cedar Crest Campus site-improvement project. At the end of the buildings-and-grounds segment, the board approved payment of Cedar Crest Campus renovation fund bills in the amount of $3,222,833.12.
Board President Mrs. Schlegel thanked staff for advancing the projects; Mr. Snyder presented each motion and, where noted in the meeting, identified the relevant vendor, scope and funding source.
