Board of Health member Swati Sane to step down; administrative assistant posted after staff move

During the March 31 meeting, board member Swati Sane told colleagues she will not renew her term and expects her last day to be April 30, 2026. “I’ve decided to not renew my next… I think my last day will be April 30 of this year,” she said.
Isabella announced that Jess will transfer to the Select Board and town administrator’s office as executive assistant, likely beginning in May, and that the Board of Health administrative assistant position is posted on the town website. Isabella said the administrative assistant role is cross-trained with the building department to reflect workload demands.
Board members thanked Sane for her service. Isabella reminded residents that board of health members are appointed by the town administrator and that anyone interested in applying can find a short application on the town’s boards and committees web page.
The board confirmed its next meeting date (April 14) and adjourned later in the session.
