The Kuna City Council voted to adjourn to an executive session under Idaho Code §74-2061(c) to discuss acquiring an interest in real property not owned by a public agency. The motion to go into executive session was made and seconded, and the council approved the motion by roll call.
Mayor Joe Steer and council members identified staff and consultants who should attend the closed session, including Chris Wrigley, Michelle Hansen, Jared, Mark and Doug, and Chief Fortisco. "We won't be making any discussions. So when we get back, we'll just say information received. No action taken," the presiding officer said when explaining post-session expectations.
The council indicated the closed session is for negotiation/strategy permitted under the cited statute; the council did not indicate any immediate formal action would result from the executive session.
