Kuna council waives readings and adopts three ordinances including design standards and parks code

At its meeting the Kuna City Council waived three readings and approved three city ordinances addressing design standards, irrigation boundaries, and park-code technical corrections.

Ordinance 2026-05 updates title 5 provisions related to design requirements and repeals certain parts of the Large Retail Establishment Design Manual and related site design chapters. The council voted to approve the ordinance and also approved a motion for summary publication where appropriate.

Ordinance 2026-06 enlarges the Kuna municipal irrigation system boundaries to include property identified in the transcript as belonging to Endurance Holdings LLC and Challenger Development Incorporated; the ordinance directs the city clerk to record the ordinance and directs the city engineer to notify the Nampa Meridian Irrigation District and update the irrigation system map.
