City staff told the council that the minimum figure reflects an average of appraisals. Advertising for the sale will begin Feb. 5 and bidding will commence March 30 for two days; if a bidder prevails, a purchase-and-sale agreement will return to the council for consideration at the April 7 meeting. Staff also presented and the council approved a property marketing agreement with Commercial Real Estate Exchange Inc. to support the auction.
