"We saw absolutely zero attempt of street partying in streets or sidewalks," Deputy Chief Brian Amoroso told the City Council in a March 17 report on the weekend. He said police and 21 allied agencies supported the university plan and that public‑safety impacts were far smaller than in prior years.
