The City Council opened a public hearing March 23 for a bar-and-grill liquor license application filed by Mongolian Bar and Grill, 1637 Stillwater Ave., Suite C, Cheyenne.
Robin Cozad, who said she bought the restaurant in December, told the council she has been addressing operations and would like to add a bar to the establishment to improve the business. "I bought the grill in December... we wanted to add a bar to that establishment," Cozad said.
One resident, Richard Johnson, voiced support during public comment. Following the hearing, Mayor Collins said the purpose of the hearing had been met and the council assigned the item to the finance committee for further review.
The finance committee will consider the license application and report back to the full council at a future meeting.
