Bradley County School Board members used part of the March 19 meeting to recognize student delegates to the Tennessee School Boards Association SCOPE conference and to celebrate achievements in the arts.
Dr. Linda Cash introduced four students who represented the district at SCOPE. Students described the experience of engaging with peers across Tennessee, debating policies, and learning about other districts' practices. "It helped me learn how to become a team... and open up my mind to many different opinions," one delegate said.
The board also recognized the Revolution Show Choir's five grand-champion wins and thanked directors Jeremiah Pritchard and Madeline Wanderly. Pritchard described a milestone year with alumni returning for a 25-year celebration, noting the program's impact on student opportunities and community support.
Board members praised the students and the arts programs; those recognitions were ceremonial and informational and did not require board action.
