Linwood Reis and Lawrence Graham each read the oath of office and were welcomed by the chair. The commission then completed roll call and approved the previous meeting's minutes by voice vote.
Staff told members to expect an election for vice chair on the next agenda. During member remarks, Reis said he is hearing impaired and sometimes uses headphones connected to a cochlear implant to follow proceedings; he asked colleagues and the public to be mindful of that accommodation. Lawrence Graham offered brief remarks of appreciation and said he looked forward to serving.
